Université Laval announces honorary doctorates to 11 exceptional personalities
Québec City, June 8, 2020 – Former Québec premier Lucien Bouchard, opera singer Marie-Nicole Lemieux, and Inuit environmental and cultural activist Sheila Watt-Cloutier are among the 11 remarkable people who will receive an honorary doctorate this year from Université Laval.
Due to the exceptional circumstances surrounding the pandemic, dates for the award ceremonies have yet to be set. They will be announced at a later date once it becomes possible to hold ceremonies and pay tribute to these individuals who have made a deep and lasting impression in their respective fields of endeavour.
